petuelle pour l’europe que M. Pabe
de 3. Pierre m’a fait l’honneui de
m’envoyer; ne m’a eté tendu que bien
tard, a caure d’une longue abtence
et pais la maltitude des occupations
m’a empeche de lire plustot. Enfin
je l’ay lû avec attention, et je suis
persuade qu’un tel projet en gros est
faisable, et que son execution seroit
une des plus utiles choses du monde
Quoyque mon sufrage ne soit daucun
poide, j’ay pourtant ctu que la recon-
noissance m’obligeoit de ne le point
dissimuter, et d’y joindre quelques remar-
ques pour le contentement d’un auteur
de ce merite, qui doit avoir beaucoup
de reputation et de fermete, pour avoit
ose et pû avec succes s’opporer a la
foule des prevenus, et au dechanement
des railleur.
